Alice in Wonderland Vintage Childrens Books Moss Green Childrens Books

Alice in Wonderland is a vintage children’s book which was written by Lewis Carroll. This children’s book is part of our folklore.

I was not aware that name Lewis Carroll was a pseudonym for Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. He was obviously a very talented individual as he was also a mathematical lecturer at Oxford University.

Lewis Carroll was also a pioneering photographer and was the inventor of a number of games and puzzles. An abundance of creativity seems to be a talent that links up the different areas that our children’s author got involved in.

The version of this vintage children’s book is retold by Lesley Sims and illustrated by Mauro Evangalista. The publisher is Usborne.

The illustrations are brilliant and have Mauro’s interpretation of the unforgettable characters in this old children’s book. The grumpy caterpillar is magnificent as he looks down his nose and puffs on a hookah pipe.

Alice in Wonderland, maybe a vintage children’s book and first published in 1865 but is still very entertaining to the children of today. The Green evaluation is Not Green.
